South African doctors who studied in Cuba to tackle primary health care



A group of Northern Cape medical graduates says a strong health care system starts with efficient, well-resourced primary health care in communities. The twenty-eight medical graduates were recruited from all districts of the province, to study medicine in Cuba through the Nelson Mandela-Fidel Castro Scholarship. The graduates recently completed their six-year medical studies in Cuba.
