New Pidgin Words Will Make Nigeria Popular – Linguist

Now words like ‘how far’ to eat money, chop-chop, danfo, sef, are all new Nigerian words engrafted in the Oxford English Dictionary.

Nigerian lecturer, Kingsley Uwguanyi who helped put the words in the English dictionary. He is an Associate Lecturer, Newcastle University, UK and Full-time lecturer at the University of Nigeria Nsukka. He joined us via skype call.
