The first standards harmonization forum by the African organization for standardisation at the continental level in cosmetology and wellness is underway in Nairobi. The workshop that brings together close to 12 African countries will validate the report on the study on the trade barrier, health and safety concerns related to cosmetology industry in Africa as well as the outreach information materials meant to enhance awareness on the benefits of standards in the cosmetology and wellness sector.
