The 7th edition of the International Tourism Fair has opened in the Ivorian city of Abidjan, with special focus being given to sustainable development in tourism. The event has brought together stakeholders from 12 countries in Africa, and 148 international exhibitors. The opening ceremony was marked by speeches, artist performances and visits to the stands. Over the course of four days, 40,000 visitors are expected. Professionals in the sector will be able to benefit from training workshops and discussion forums.
