Daring Abroad: First African to Head the BBC Africa News Service, Joseph Warungu



He began his career at KBC in 1985 as a radio newscaster on a voluntary basis and at that time he was still in college studying not journalism, but education. Little did he know that he was planting the seed that would take him to London to become the first head of the BBC African news and current affairs.
