Nigerians have been advised to be mindful of statements they make about disparaging political leaders to avoid creating disharmony in the political class especially as elections are around the corner. A non governmental organization , the Initiative for Promotion of Civil Obligations and Sustainable Peace made this appeal in Abuja at media briefing. The organizations says it is particularly saddened by uncomplimentary comments concerning the Vice President by the deposed Emir of Gwandu. According to the group, such comments coming at this critical political period is seen as a calculated attempt to damage the excellent relationship between the President and the Vice President. The group is therefore urging Nigerians to continue to rally support for the President and the Vice President towards achieving the transformation agenda.
