A section of leaders from the African continent have called for more girl children empowerment programes by the government to help them attain their full potentials. Speaking during an event held in Isiolo County the leaders argue that although there have been efforts geared towards promoting girl child education there are still a number of hitches owing to the patriarchal nature of the society.
