Many of them used megaphones to project their attacks on the voting process, echoing the president’s baseless claims of fraud.

Protesters created delays and disrupted vote counters’ work, making their jobs harder, Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs told CNN.

Hobbs feared for the staff’s safety and sheriff’s deputies worked to protect them.

Some protesters brought military-style rifles and handguns to the demonstration, as the state lets people carry guns openly.

Thursday was the second night of protests outside the state’s election headquarters.

Hundreds of Trump supporters gathered on Wednesday evening in protest of the vote count, and a group called the AZ Patriots entered the recorder’s office before being removed by authorities.

In the early hours of Friday, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden lead in Arizona by just under a 1 percent margin with nearly 90 percent of the votes reported.

Jones, known for his right-wing radio show Infowars, was named “the most prolific conspiracy theorist in contemporary America” by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

He claimed that the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, did not occur and that parents who mourned for their children were “actors.”
