One South Africa, or OSA, under the leadership of Mmusi Maimane says the Department of Basic Education is gambling with the lives of learners by reopening schools.
The Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga announced on Tuesday that grades 7 and 12 learners will return to school on the 1st of June.
Maimane however, says that government have taken “half-baked and rushed” decisions and One South Africa has since launched a petition against the department.
Joining us is Mmusi Maimane to discuss this further.
