Olivia Rodrigo has announced the inaugural edition of Daisy Chain Fields, a new music festival that will take place at Great Park on Aug. 29 in Irvine, California.
Rodrigo revealed the details today in a new cover interview with Pitchfork, noting that she took inspiration from Lilith Fair and described the festival as her “calling.” “I just feel like we need something really positive to do and see,” she says. “Young girls need awesome role models who are supporting other women and who are engaging in something that’s really joyful and musical and community-oriented.”

The festival features an all-female lineup, with 100% of net proceeds benefiting women and girls, including Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Free Form, National Domestic Workers Alliance, Planned Parenthood, and more.
The lineup includes Chappell Roan, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Not for Radio, Die Spitz, and more, with special guests Stevie Nicks, Karen O, and Sarah McLachlan.
“I’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years, and I am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true,” Rodrigo says on Instagram. “I firmly believe that joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change, and I’m hopeful this festival will be just that.”
Ticket presale will begin Wednesday (June 24) at daisychainfields.com.
