Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will visit South Africa next month.
The state visit follows attacks on foreign-owned businesses in this country and attacks on South African businesses based in Nigeria.
The presidency says the visit is aimed at reinforcing what a media statement calls “the strong bonds between the two countries”.
This follows President Cyril Ramaphosa’s talks on Friday with Nigerian Ambassador Ahmed Abu-bakar.
