Stand Atlantic announce new album GODBREATH

Stand Atlantic have announced their new album, GODBREATH, out Oct. 23 via Virgin Music Group.

Previewing the LP is “LUCID,” a song created after vocalist Bonnie Fraser struggled with songwriting fatigue, finding inspiration in inner conflict and radical self-acceptance.

“This was a hard track to figure out,” Fraser says. “‘LUCID’ was one of the last songs we wrote for this record, and I was kind of done. I felt like I was running out of things to say that wouldn’t feel super contrived. So I went plain and simple. I thought, ‘I’m not going to overthink this. Let’s go with what self-sabotage feels like,’ and explored that lyrically.” 

Last month, Stand Atlantic teased GODBREATH with “Velcro,” the first single from the album. It marks the band’s first love song, exploring magnetic attraction, vulnerability, and the irresistible pull of someone else.

They’ll perform at Warped Tour in Long Beach later this month ahead of supporting Simple Plan on their U.K. run of shows in the fall, and will play the Orlando edition of Warped later in the year.
