FRIGHTENED horror buffs declared they were ‘having panic attacks in the cinema’ after watching the terrifying Other Mommy trailer.
Jessica Chastain stars in a dual role as normal mother Ursula and the sinister supernatural force using her appearance as a disguise.
Specifically, the villainous entity is targeting Bela (Arabella Olivia Clark), Ursula’s young daughter.
The trailer begins with Ursula seemingly coming home to make lunch – only to reveal it’s actually the entity.
A burning pan sets off the smoke alarm, prompting Bela’s dad Russ (Jay Duplass) to arrive in the kitchen.
A huge jump-scare,sees the entity suddenly appear in a scary, contorted position – the shock sending Russ backwards through glass.

Russ and Bella inform Ursula about what’s happening – followed by brief, frightening teases of what’s to come.
Near the end of the trailer, Ursula reassures Bela it’s really her that she’s talking to.
While the final moments feature a terrifying scene of the entity rising up in a ball pit next to Bela – as the girl screams.
Left traumatised by the terrifying scenes, fans took to social media to share their reactions.
One person wrote: “That scene when she’s under table made my entire theater jump.”
Another penned: “Jesus christ that table scare is an actual all-timer, like that Smile neck one.”
A third commented: “Theater played a trailer for this movie “other mommy” before the odyssey and there’s a jump scare it in that i’m still thinking about and it should be illegal.”
A fourth remarked: “Whoever decided to air this trailer right before The Odyssey started is a f*****g d******d.
“Thought it was an ice cream commercial. Next thing you know I’m having a panic attack in my seat.”
