Billie Faiers and Ferne McCann are unrecognisable in throwback pic from 19 years ago to celebrate Ferne’s 30th

TOWIE pals Billie Faiers and Ferne McCann looked unrecognisable in a throwback picture posted to celebrate Ferne turning 30.

Billie shared the adorable snap of the friends hugging as youngsters to mark the significant birthday.

Billie, who turned 30 earlier this year, captioned the picture with the words: “Besties. 19 years of wonderful friendship and memories”.

On another picture of the pair at Billie’s wedding last year, she commented: “We have had the time of our lives together over the years”.

The mum-of-two then went on to share a hilarious video of Ferne messing around on the beach in a bikini.

“Thank you for the endless belly laughs and banter,” said Billie.

Fans were introduced to party-lovers Billie and Ferne when they debuted on The Only Way is Essex.

Billie featured in the reality show alongside her younger sister Sam when it premiered in 2010, while Ferne joined in 2013.

They both left the series by 2016 but their friendship is still going strong

Now both parents, Ferne is mum to two-year-old Sunday, while Billie is a mother to Nelly, six, and Arthur, two.

Still very much a huge part of each other’s lives, Ferne attended Billie’s magical Maldives wedding to Greg Shepherd last year.

In an exclusive chat with The Sun, Ferne said this week: ““I made some silly decisions in my twenties that I beat myself up about, but now I’ve realised that that is what your twenties are for.

“We all make mistakes early and we learn from them.

“I was giving a lot of time and effort to people that were not giving it back to me and I’ve stopped doing that now.

“Now I know myself, I know what I want and, more importantly, I know what I don’t want.”
