UCL: Egbo’s Tirana Ready For Dinamo Tbilisi Test

Nigerian manager Ndubuisi Egbo Albanian side FK Tirana will face Georgian club Dinamo Tbilisi in the UEFA Champions League first-round qualifying tie on Wednesday (today) at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena, reports Completesports.com.

Egbo, who led Tirana to the Albanian league title last season, is set to become the first African to manage a team in the UCL in today’s tie against the Georgians.

Tirana’s lost their last competitive game, a 2-0 loss to Teuta in the final of Albanian Cup.

A place in the group stage of the Champions League will be the ultimate for Egbo and his team and a positive result against Tbilisi will set the tone for actualising that dream.

At the Injector Arena, Klaksvik Bordoy, Rabiu Ibrahim and Ezekiel Henty’s Slovakia club Slovan Bratislava will face Faroe Islands Ki Klaksvik in another tie.

Yusuf Otubanjo and Louis Ogana are expected to be in action when their Armenian club Ararat-Armenia take on Cypriot outfit Omonia Nicosia.

Leke James’ Molde will be up against Finnish club Kuopion Palloseura.
