Women's Rights | Equality Now says African countries hold onto sexist laws



Women’s rights organisation Equality Now has issued a report which says some African countries are still holding onto sexist laws that hinder the advancement of women’s rights.
The report, which coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Beijing platform for women where governments pledged to respect women’s rights, calls on governments to scrap the laws which discriminate against women.
