Nigeria Twitter is currently flooded with conversations addressing feminism as many have shared their various meanings to the idea.
This trend is largely in reaction to parts of Pastor Enoch Adeboye’s love letter to his wife on the occasion of her 72nd birthday, where he urged women to be like his wife who has been very submissive in all their years of marriage.
Pastor Adeboye and his wife have been married for 50+ years and he’s sharing what works for them.

While to many who identify as feminist, the pastor’s words may have appeared derogatory, a few others noted that he was only sharing his experience with his wife as they slammed those who berated the pastor.
I don’t wants to have anything to do with Nigeria feminism not because of what Pastor Adeboye says, but because majority of feminists in Nigeria are delusional. whether you like it or not, Feminism & religion can never be compatible.

Some pointed out that many feminists in Nigeria are missing the true meaning of the idea.
WIll and Jada gave you the bad marriage for life edition, y’all danced to the tunes with no rustling of anomaly.
Pastor Adeboye gave you the best part of having a wonderful partner, y’all sad.

The current argument on the issue however is the notion that feminism can not mix with religion, with many stressing that the idea will always be in contrast with the very popular religions in Nigeria.
