Ifeoma Ubby is a Nigerian woman currently living in Singapore — a part of the world that doesn’t have a large African diaspora. She was inspired to create modern clothing made out of Ankara — a colourful cotton fabric from West Africa that features batik-inspired prints, with a modern twist. Her shop OliveAnkara, was born out of a desire to share African inspired clothing with women around the world. In this way, Ifeoma brought a little taste of home to Singapore.
