UK: 'Human skin' handbags put on display at university fashion show



Central Saint Martins student Tina Gorjanc presented her “Pure Human” project, a fashion line using lab manufactured ‘human-skin’ leather at Goldsmiths’ in London on Thursday. Gorjanc attempted to use the deceased designer Alexander McQueen’s DNA to create a fabric that could then be made into bags and jackets.
