Nigeria’s People’s Democratic Party has asked the Independent National Electoral Commission to immediately announce results as delivered from the polling units and declare their candidate Atiku Abubakar, the winner of the yesterday’s Presidential election.
The party claims that verifiable results across the nation show Abubakar is in clear lead both in spread and total number of votes cast.
The PDP says the INEC is delaying the announcement of results following directives by President Muhammadu Buhari and his All Progressives Congress party.
