African countries see ‘few cases’ but ‘few tests’ have been done



As the coronavirus pandemic seems to be calming down in much of Europe and accelerating in South America, Africa has not seen an explosion as many had feared, although there are rising concerns that millions are not counted as being contaminated and do not have access to the health care systems as a result into finances being funnelled into fighting the pandemic, as WHO deputy incident manager for Covid-19 Richard Mihigo explains from Brazzaville, in the Republic of Congo.
