In full: Boris Johnson says he won't lift UK coronavirus lockdown yet



In his first day back at work after being treated in intensive care for COVID-19, Boris Johnson said the coronavirus lockdown measures in the UK will remain in place for now, saying he “cannot spell out” when changes will be made.

He said the government “will be saying much more about this in the coming days”, suggesting a plan could be announced soon.
