HEALTH Secretary Matt Hancock said that production of the UK’s coronavirus vaccine is already underway ahead of approval.
Hancock told LBC, “the best case scenario is that that happens this year… in the first few months of next year is most likely”.
The possibility of a coronavirus vaccine being given the all-clear and rolled out across the country brings huge hope in the UK’s battle against the bug.
It comes as the first local lockdown is to be put in place in Wales from today (Tuesday) at 6pm.
Caerphilly will have new restrictions as a result of a spike in coronavirus cases.
