The Pakistani teenager, who was shot at close range by the Taliban, in October 2012, Malala Yousafzai, is in Nigeria on a mission to talk about the importance of girl-child education.
Having lived in a country where the Taliban, like Boko Haram, is against educating the girl-child, Malala has become an activist, campaigning for education.
Over the weekend, she met with relatives of the abducted Chibok girls, and even promised to campaign for the release of the girls.
It is over 90 days now, since over 200 girls were abducted from their dormitory in the Government Girls’ Secondary school, in Chibok, Borno State by member of a terrorist group, Boko Haram.
She said that the news about the girls abduction made her felt like her sisters were imprisoned.
