The Varkey Foundation, runs one of Africa’s largest teacher training programmes, with an ambition to train 250,000 teachers, impacting ten million children. They’ve taken on the call by UNESCO, for governments to commit 20 percent of their budgets to education and are urging businesses to be more proactive by significantly increasing their investment in educational initiatives in areas of greatest need. Vikas Pota, is the CEO of the foundation, and he joins us.
