There’s a lot to consider when working towards this: what kind of demo material to submit, which labels to target, and who to reach out to at the label– plus during COVID-19, there’s another added level of uncertainty altogether. This session will cover some concrete tips about the label-signing process and what A&R managers look for. TuneCore’s very own Entertainment Relations Manager, Nathan Phillips, will be moderating the conversation with Panos Polimatidis, Head of Artist Relations UK at Believe Distribution Services. We’ll be discussing what their strategies are when signing an artist and how the global pandemic has changed the way they scout, sign, and develop artists.
