Coronavirus deaths in England rise by 828 to 6,483

Another 828 #coronavirus patients have died in hospital in England, taking the total to 6,483.

It is the largest overall increase reported by NHS England so far.

COVID-19-related deaths have risen in Scotland by 70 to 366.

A record rise was seen in Wales, where health officials have confirmed that another 33 patients have lost their lives.

The number of lives lost in Northern Ireland has risen by five to a total of 78.

A total figure for the UK will be released later today to take into account differences in reporting between the four nations.
