Bismark Rewane, CEO of Financial Derivatives Company and member of President Buhari’s Economic Advisory Council, spoke to the Global Business Report about the productivity loss of gridlock on Nigeria’s roads. He also analyzed the likely inflationary effects of the partial closure of the 3rd Mainland Bridge for necessary repairs and weighed in on the Minister of Finance’s hopeful projection that Nigeria’s 2020 recession could be moderated to a 0.59% contraction from the 4.2% contraction projected by the National Bureau of Statistics.
