Nigeria’s first-ever female helicopter pilot, Tolulope Arotile, after just eight months of being decorated, has died.
The Chief of Air Staff, Sadique Abubakar, during Tolulope’s decoration, said, “They are not only female officers but outstanding aviators.”
Tolulope lost her life in an incident that happened at the base of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) in Kaduna State.
In a statement released by the Force, it was disclosed that she suffered head injuries “from a road traffic accident at NAF Base Kaduna.”
