Paris Saint Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has claimed he has been offered the chance to buy Chelsea striker Fernando Torres.
The Italian was in charge at Stamford Bridge when the Spain international arrived from Liverpool for £50m last January.
The Blues insist Torres is not for sale but Ancelotti says the 27-year-old is one of a number of big names that have been touted to him since he took over the reins at the Qatari-backed French club.
He said: “There is a lot of choice for this January market. Do you want the names?
“OK, now I tell you the players the agents are offering on the market, officially or not: Carlos Tevez, Fernando Torres, Dimitar Berbatov, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Edinson Cavani, Fernando Llorente.”
Reports have suggested Tevez is Ancelotti’s preferred choice as he looks to boost his strike-force with PSG ready to launch a £25m bid for the wantaway Manchester City forward if Inter Milan are unable to clinch a deal for the Argentinian.
