Interview excerpts from 1997 featuring author Howard Gardner, who wrote “Extraordinary Minds: Portraits of Exceptional Individuals and an Examination of Our Extraordinariness.” In the book, Gardner selects four individuals that he says have extraordinary minds – Mozart, Virginia Woolf, Freud and Gandhi. He also discusses the research that he did on other historical figures like Igor Stravinsky, and it tells us about individuals with extraordinary intelligence.
