African Union chair and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa says Africa needs 100 billion US dollars to be able to deal with the economic challenges brought on by COVID-19.
Ramaphosa participated in a special virtual meeting of heads of state and governments on the sideline of the United Nations general assembly.
The meeting looked at the challenges of illicit financial flows during the COVID-19 pandemic.
