FORECASTERS predict an ‘early winter’ this month, with some parts of the UK plummeting to a chilling -10.
A 1,000 mile-wide ‘Norwegian barrage’ will hit the UK this week, sending temperatures falling.
“It looks like an early winter, with the cards stacked in favour of a cold second half of autumn due to La Nina,” Weather Outlook forecaster Brian Gaze said.
The UK will be blasted by a freezing Atlantic system that will see temperatures plummet to zero.
It comes as fears the UK could see snow this week as freezing Atlantic air will push across the country in a westerly direction.
