Ismail Sabri: Politicians not the only infected with Covid-19 from Sabah

Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has rubbished talks that politicians returning from Sabah were the main contributors to the spike in Covid-19 cases.

The Senior Minister (Security)said that on Saturday when asked to comment on claims that politicians who returned from Sabah are the cause of the “new wave” of novel coronavirus infections in the peninsula.

Ismail said more than 13,000 people went through tests upon arrival from Sabah and only 1% of them tested positive, adding that the 1% is a mix of politicians, tourists as well as those who have official and business matters in Sabah.
