DOCTORS could hand out Covid vaccines on Christmas and Boxing Day under plans to protect millions of Brits quickly.
Family doctors are preparing to be able to offer the jab seven days a week between 8am and 8pm – while every major city will also get a dedicated mass Covid vaccination centre to speed up roll-out.
Health Secretary Matt Hancock is set to outline plans next week for dozens to be readied, with the aim to deliver more than 100,000 jabs daily.

The news came as Boris said a four week lockdown in England is “enough” to make a “real impact” on coronavirus infection rates.
