FAME FIGHTING boss Eugen Lopez is stuck in the middle of Chase DeMoor’s fight with Aleks Petrovic.
On Saturday, June 6 Fame Fighting and Misfits go head-to-head in a cross-promotion airing exclusively on Sun Club.
And topping the huge card in Germany is Misfits’ American heavyweight champion DeMoor against Petrovic of Fame.
But promoter Lopez is in a sticky situation having formed a close friendship with DeMoor over the years – even coaching him in bouts.
Although he confirmed to SunSport: “No, I can’t be in his corner this fight because it’s my event. I can’t corner him against my fighters.”
It is an unusual situation for the 33-year-old promoter to be in but he said: “For me, I’m a sportsman. And I’m a professional guy.
“So whoever is better prepared deserve to win. So if a Fame Fighting fighter like Alex is winning, it’s okay.
“And if my friend Chase wins, it’s okay too. So for me it’s both ways okay.”
Fame Fighting was launched by Lopez in 2023 – one year after Misfits paved the way for celebrity-style crossover bouts.
KSI and his manager Mams Taylor co-founded Misfits and this will be their first cross-promotion.

“And then I go to him and tell him, ‘Hey, if you want, we can do a big crossover in Germany and make a big show. We write history, make legacy, why not?’
“And Mams directly agreed. So, of course, we can do it. Let’s make a good show, make a good event. And yeah, I was happy.
