Home Ground was hosted by the League Of Legends eSports team T1 at the end of April at the 15,000 capacity Inspire Arena. The pro team won the League Of Legends World Championship last year for the sixth time, and Home Ground allowed fans to watch them play matches live.

The three-date event featured performances from South Korean girl group NMIXX, who performed their new T1 anthem ‘Superior’ alongside other hits, and Against The Current’s Chrissy Costanza.

Costanza performed her two League Of Legends anthems (‘Legends Never Die’ and ‘Phoenix’) as well as Against The Current’s LoL collab ‘Wildfire’ during the ten-minute set. “Thank you for having me, it was an honour to perform for the T1 fans,” she wrote online afterwards.

As well as collaborating with League Of Legends, Costanza has also provided original songs for Genshin Impact, Marvel Rivals and Final Fantasy 14. She also released a solo EP inspired by the world of video games and performed at the 2025 League Of Legends World Championship opening ceremony alongside dance titan Anyma.

Speaking about her unofficial role as the queen of video game music, Costanza told NME: “I’ve made so many lifelong relationships through gaming. That community aspect is really important, especially with MMOs. Growing up without like-minded people around you can be incredibly isolating, but being able to dive into these games and connect with people who are passionate about the same things you are is so powerful.”

“The best part about those games is you can do things that you can’t do in the real world. It’s escapism, but it’s also freedom of expression,” she added. “In the physical world, you can feel confined by real world limitations like your body, your environment or external pressures to not do certain things. In games, you get to express who you really are, which is incredibly liberating.”

In other news, the title of the A Minecraft Movie sequel has been revealed alongside a new behind-the-scenes clip that promises the film will go “deeper” into the game’s lore than the original.
