THE King’s nephew Peter Phillips and NHS nurse Harriet Sperling publicly announced their engagement last summer.
And with the pair set to marry this weekend, here is everything you need to know about the bride…
Who is Harriet Sperling?
Harriet Sperling is an NHS paediatric nurse and freelance writer from South Cerney, Gloucestershire.
She is the mother of one daughter called Georgia, previously telling Woman Alive: “In the earlier years of my journey as a single mother to my daughter, resources were scarce, and the future was uncertain.
“Yet, in the absence of material security, I discovered the strength and life that comes from true selfless love. A love that is able to be solely devoted to your child.”
Her relationship with the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II was first made public at the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024, where the pair were showing their support for Zara Tindall, Phillips’ sister.

And just a year on, the NHS nurse was spotted drinking champagne with the King and Queen at Royal Ascot.
Since then, the soon-to-be-married couple have been spotted at multiple high society events together including Wimbledon and Cheltenham Races.
Harriet, coincidentally, already has a connection to the royal family as she is related to the Duke of Gloucester through her late father.
Who is Peter Phillips?
Peter Phillips is the son of Princess Anne and her first husband Captain Mark Phillips.
Royal insiders have previously said that he was Queen Elizabeth II’s “favourite” grandson.
Despite being a member of the Royal Family, Peter did not inherit a royal title at birth as hereditary titles are passed down through the male line, and Captain Phillips does not have a royal title.
On top of this, Peter’s parents rejected an offer from the Queen to give him a title, which would have enabled him to be born into peerage.
This means that although he is part of the Royal Family, Peter and his sister Zara have never carried out royal duties.
Peter brings two daughters into his marriage with Harriet – Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, both from his previous 12-year marriage to Autumn Kelly.
Who is on the guest list for their wedding?
The couple are set to exchange vows at All Saints Church in Kemble, followed by a reception that will take place at Gatcombe Park.
