Love Island’s Wil Anderson touches down in the US to support England footballer brother Elliot in the World Cup


WIL Anderson has travelled stateside to support his England footballer brother Elliot in the World Cup.

The Love Island alum, 25, shared a photo dump to Instagram from his travels, clearly embracing his time in Florida ahead of Elliot’s football matches.

In the first snap Wil is chowing down on a burrito with a side of tortilla chips and a large coffee.

He made the most out of the gorgeous weatherby eating outside with his fiance Uma Jammeh, who accompanied him on the trip.

Another snap shows Wil and his fiance sitting in a stadium, smiling together.

Uma wore a navy and white dress reminiscent of a football pitch cheerleader outfit and accessorised with round statement earrings and a slickback.

Other photos show gorgeous views outside of a luxurious terrace, including palm trees and a swimming pool.

Captioning the carousel, the star wrote: “First few days stateside,” followed by an emoji of the American flag.

Fellow islander Ronnie Vint dropped a comment on the post, saying: “Living,” in all caps.

Uma hopped in too, writing: “S.Rosemary Ave,” followed by a series of tropical beach emojis.

Meanwhile Uma’s sister Collette also added: “Lovely. Have a fantastic time.”

The show of support comes shortly after Wil and Elliot’s mother passed away in April.

Announcing the devastating news to Instagram, Wil shared how his mother “fought the toughest fight” and how he held her hand in her final moments.

The telly star also posted a carousel tribute to his mum including pictures of her with him and brother Elliot when they were young.

Wil’s brother Elliot is playing as part of the England squad during this year’s FIFA World Cup.

The 2026 cup is being jointly hosted acoss North America by Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

The first game is England vs Croatia on June 17 in Dallas, with kick off at 9pm.

Elliot made his Premier League debut in 2024, which Wil went along to watch in support.

In that same year Wil competed on Love Island, where he was coupled up with now-fiance Uma.

The couple got engaged last year with Wil cheekily posting on Instagram: “I liked it, so I put a ring on it,” alongside a beautiful snap of Uma in a green bodycon dress.
