A MAN onboard a train threatened to kill horrified passengers before biting a man’s finger in a terrifying attack.

Police have released CCTV footage as they hunt for a man who could help their probe.

At around 9.20pm on Thursday 21 May, a man allegedly became verbally abusive and aggressive on a train between Cannon Street and Orpington, Greater London.

Cops said he began threatening to kill terrified travellers when brave passengers tried to restrain him.

It was then he reportedly bit another passenger’s finger – causing a deep injury with nerve and ligament damage.

The man continued to act belligerently, attempting to assault others before getting off at New Cross station, it is understood.

CCTV footage has been released as cops hope to speak to the man pictured, who they believe could have information to assist their probe.
