Starcleaner Reunion have announced their debut album, Umbrella, out Sept. 25 via Take Care Records.
The self-produced LP was made in drummer Adam Kenter’s garage studio following their biggest tour last summer, reworking ideas by chopping, reversing, and reshaping tracks and bringing in friends to add instruments like clarinet, horns, and violin.

Previewed by lead single “Never Odd or Even,” the track’s shifting musical style reflects its emotional back-and-forth themes.
“‘Never Odd or Even’ is about the anticipation of sharing secrets,” vocalist Jo Roman says. “Some of them can be entertaining while others could reveal dark things. This song explores the experience of a personal secret leaving that protective space in someone’s mind.”
This fall, they’ll begin a headline tour in support of Umbrella before supporting Blondshell and Bully.
