NNL: Remo Stars Appoint Ajibolade As New Head Coach

Remo Stars have confirmed the appointment of Olumide Ajibolade as their new head coach, Completesports.com reports.

Ajibolade assumes the role after years of exceptional success in youth development and team management.

The young tactician joined the Remo Stars’ Academy in 2019 as the U-17 head coach.

Following the establishment of Beyond Limits Football Academy in 2021, he took charge of the team and has since built one of the most successful football development projects in Nigeria.

Under his leadership, Beyond Limits established itself as a dominant force in the TCC League, winning five titles in six seasons (2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24 and 2025/26).

Ajibolade also guided the club to back-to-back TCC Cup triumphs in the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons, lifted the TCC Super Cup in 2025, and won the Ogun State FA Cup in 2024 and 2026.

His achievements extend beyond academy competitions. He led Beyond Limits to promotion from the Nationwide League One (NLO) to the Nigeria National League (NNL) during the 2022/23 season before orchestrating another historic promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in the 2023/24 campaign.

That remarkable season culminated in Beyond Limits being crowned Nigeria National League champions in Enugu.

Renowned for his emphasis on player development, Ajibolade has nurtured and developed numerous talented footballers who have gone on to establish successful professional careers with clubs across Europe and other parts of the world.

He has been appointed with the mandate of steering Remo Stars back to the NPFL at the first attempt after last season’s relegation.
