New UK post-Brexit immigration system to deny low-skilled workers

The UK’s post-Brexit immigration system will deny visas to low-skilled workers.

A new points based system to be introduced from January 2021 is intended to stop dependence on “cheap labour from Europe”.

It will make it easier for higher skilled workers to get UK visas, but there are concerns the proposal could have a significant impact on farming.
