Several African countries go to the polls in the next six months

Countries including Angola, Kenya and Rwanda are awaiting specific dates for their elections. While countries like the DRC are hoping elections will actually take place this year, as political instability persists. The African Union has pledged to support all countries to ensure voting is peaceful and democratic. CGTN’s Girum Chala has more.
