The Resource Centre for Human Rights and Civic Education has called on the federal government to declare a state of emergency on the issue of out-of-school children used for forced begging popularly known as Almajiris.
The group says it is forming a partnership with Anti-Slavery International U.K to find ways capable of tackling the shameful Almajiri system in the country
The Executive Director of the group, Ibrahim Ziki-rullahi says the project will generate much needed scientific data expected to be used to solve the problem
