POLICE in London are spending almost £20million on keeping seized dogs in kennels.
Scotland Yard has agreed the mega deals with two secret pounds.

Around 1,700 dogs are seized in London each year, with many being dangerous or prohibited such as XL bullies.
The Met Police has room for 160 hounds so extra space is needed.
The force’s new kennels deal — which began in April and runs until 2030 — is for “care, handling, welfare and management of dogs seized under relevant legislation”.
Police refused to name the two kennels.
The number of offences involving out-of-control dogs in the capital reached 2,530 last year — seven per day on average.
Last month Sean Garner, 31, was jailed for 12 years after his XL bully killed an 84-year-old man on a street in Warrington, Cheshire.
John McColl was mauled to death by the beast, named Toretto, on a driveway as he screamed for help.
He died from his injuries a month after the attack in Warrington, Cheshire, in February last year, where the dog was found “eating him alive” and had to be shot 10 times by cops.
