Four dead after light plane crashes into ground after going into ‘spiral dive’

ALL four people on a small plane have been killed when the craft suddenly plummeted into a death spiral over Croatia.

The flight had taken off from Austria at 10:20am but just one hour later the horror unfodled.

At around 11:20am the plane plumetted into a death spiral and crashed near the city of Pula.

All four people – who were Austrian nationals – were killed.

A TV reporter told local news: “I spoke with eyewitnesses who observed the plane landing. The aircraft initially flew level and then suddenly went into a spiral dive before crashing into the ground. There was no explosion, just a dull thud.”

The cause of the sudden fall is still unclear.
