Joan Cusack’s Jessie takes the lead in the fifth instalment of the Toy Story franchise.
Directed by Andrew Stanton (Finding Nemo), the animated sequel follows Jessie, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of Bonnie’s toys as they contend with the presence of Lilypad, a tablet which is hogging all her attention.

Newcomers to the voice cast include Greta Lee as Lilypad and Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants, with Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Lori Alan, Jay Hernandez, Bonnie Hunt, Kristen Schaal, Tony Hale and Wallace Shawn all reprising their roles.
Toy Story 5 was released in cinemas worldwide on June 19, 2026.
Who composed the Toy Story 5 soundtrack?
Like the prior four outings, Toy Story 5’s soundtrack is by Randy Newman. His song ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’ is synonymous with the film series.
