Poppy has released the video for “Dying to Forget” from her recent album, Empty Hands.
The video, directed by Orie McGuiness, who also worked on “Guardian,” “Bruised Sky,” and “Time Will Tell,” features Poppy and her band performing in a dark industrial setting, with a crowd of real fans packed into a narrow corridor. Isaac Hale of Knocked Loose and Stephen Harrison of House of Protection, both of whom co-wrote the track, are also seen in the video.

Earlier this year, Poppy released her moody cover of “Hand in My Pocket” by Alanis Morissette for the Mile End Kicks soundtrack, a coming-of-age movie about a music journalist (Barbie Ferreira) moving to Montreal to work on a book inspired by Morissette’s Jagged Little Pill.
Next month, she’ll embark on the North American leg of her tour in support of Empty Hands before supporting Evanescence across Europe.
