Daga On Target In Molde’s Away League Win


Nigeria midfielder Daniel Daga was on target in Molde FK’s 4-2 win away to KFUM Oslo, in the Norwegian topflight on Sunday, completesports.com reports.

Daga scored with five minutes left in the first half to bring the score to 1-1, recording his first goal in two league appearances this season.

The 19-year-old, who was in the starting lineup was then replaced in the 69th minute.

The win took Molde to fifth on 23 points in the 16-team league table.

Daga was acquitted of sexual assault charges by a Norwegian court of appeal.

In March 2026, Daga was sentenced to six months in prison after being found guilty of committing a sexual act without consent.

The incident reportedly occurred in April 2025, while the 19-year-old was formally charged on December 19, 2025.

Following the conviction, Daga was suspended indefinitely from first-team selection at Molde FK.

However, the Court of Appeal overturned the verdict, clearing the midfielder to return to action.
